Manhattan Murder Mystery in that state that looks like an upside down bird w/a square left wing
Manhattan Murder Mystery is about to release one of the best records of all human history. The kind of record that changes kids’ lives. A record that, after buying, you want to take with you into the bathroom so you can privately stare-at and dissect all its contents before and after listening.
There will be lots more about this release very soon, but for now…

Hello My Name Is Chuck

Thank you AF.
The Blank Tapes from White Noise
This past Tuesday, label affiliate White Noise released The Blank Tapes Home Away From Home. The record hasn’t left our office (garage) playlist since getting an early copy over a month ago.
If this is your first time hearing about The Blank Tapes, check out this video for “We Can Do What We Want To.” The visuals brought us back to the days of MTV’s 120 minutes when that guy with the fake British accent would introduce 1st-time videos from bands like Poster Children and The Jesus and Mary Chain. HMNI Photo Lab
Not long ago, HMNI went from a makeshift office in the closet of a small studio, to a spacious garage/art-space/apartment (we didn’t hit the lottery, just got a pretty sweet deal on an open space in the building next to us). The extra square footage came in handy last week as we prepared for the release of Map The Music.
Over 600 photos were painted with MTM logos to be used as inserts for the 300 1st edition copies of this DVD release. The HMNI offices temporarily became a photo lab as we waited for the paint to dry (closer look below). Read the rest of this entry
Map The Music…worth the wait in line
A little while back, we wrote about joining forces with an incredibly passionate human being by the name of Samantha Hale, who was releasing a documentary titled Map The Music.
Upon first viewing, there was no question this true diy creation was a ray of sunshine for all die-hard music fans (We’ve all stood in never-ending lines at one time or another just for a glimpse of the stage – obstructed view or no guaranteed admittance meant nothing in those moments).
Ed Vallance – Silent Sun
We were blown away when we saw the video from Ed Vallance’s “Silent Sun.” This track isn’t on The Summer Fire EP, it’s on his debut release The Modern Life. Read the rest of this entry
